Neurometer is a specialized electrodiagnostic device designed for non-invasive sensory nerve function evaluation. It measures Current Perception Threshold (CPT), providing objective and reproducible data on sensory nerve conduction. Using precisely calibrated electrical stimuli, Neurometer helps you assess large myelinated, small myelinated, and unmyelinated sensory nerve fibers, for a more complete picture of peripheral nerve health.
This enables early detection of neuropathic conditions and monitoring of disease progression or treatment effects, with CPT identifying functional changes even earlier - such as when symptoms are present but traditional nerve conduction tests may show no abnormalities.
